Xytar Digital Systems introduced
today the fourth model to it’s ADMS series of “Recording and Production
Studios in a Box”. The model DMS1616CD like it’s predecessors is
a complete digital audio mastering system. Designed with state of
the art hardware, a user can record 16 audio tracks on the internal Sound
Drive. Multiple recorder decks and machine synchronization are eliminated
because the 16 tracks can be recorded simultaneously. The DMS1616CD
includes overdub and punch-in/punch-out features on all tracks. Equalization,
filtering, reverb, echo, variable pitch, variable speed, sampling rate
change and parametric filtering can be applied to any and or all of the
tracks. Fast Fourier Transform (F.F.T.) noise removal is also a standard
feature and is used for the restoration of old audio productions.
The audio tracks are recorded
on a 15 Gigabyte internal hard drive (larger capacities optionally available).
A 1 Gigabyte removable Jaz data pack is installed for additional work space
as well as work backup. The audio tracks can be edited, equalized
and mixed down to a 2 channel master. This master then can be used
to cut a Redbook standard CD with the onboard CD-writer. CD copies
can be made from the internal CD-reader to the CD-writer. The DMS1616CD
is priced at $9999.
